Hi I'm Owen, and unfortunately, I am petless. The most recent book I finished was the Windup Girl by Paolo Bacigalupi. Currently I am reading the English translation of Markets in the Making by Micheal Callon, and in the middle of a re-read of Wuthering Heights. I am mostly running oneshots for a few friends, we switch between Mothership and Shadowdark.

Hi all, I'm Hat! My wife and I have a cat (Georgiana), and live in a house with three other cats, a heeler/collie mix, and a colony of hissing cockroaches. Currently reading A Collapse of Horses (Brian Evenson, 2016) and Burnout (Emily and Amelia Nagoski, 2020), and shortly running Into the Odd and Violence.

Hey there!
1. Joe (he/him). Located in NYC.
2. No pets.
3. Just finished reading Hive, the new WH40K novel by DA. Recommended. I have a bunch of Ian Rankin novels and the second in the Steerswoman series, plus the sequel to A Time of Gifts (I love travelogues, both fictional and non) on my nightstand.
4. In between games because of work. We mostly play one-shots, of all different systems (mostly recently CoC and DG), and I need to finish writing up one of my Cairn one-shots for ArcaneCon.

1. Daniel (he/him). Located in Southern Minnesota.
2. Two cats, Anthea and Gilly, both good mousers.
3. I've been re-reading every D&D core rulebook to grasp the changes between each edition, currently on 5.5E. Other than that, I recently started Tolkien's unfinished The Notion Club Papers, and recently finished Marvels, Monsters, and Miracles: Studies in the Medieval and Early Modern Imaginations, which I found particularly inspiring.
4. My last games were a few one-shots of DCC (Classics, not Carl) and Call Of Cthulhu at a local convention, but my time has been taken of late with my own designs.

A classic tradition of BBS and forum spaces (and even discords) is introductions! It doesn’t need to be a lot but it’s good to have a place to look people up and get and idea of them. So in that spirit:
1. Who are you?
Walid's better half
2. Got any pets?
A golden retriever, Nala. she's not Walid's biggest fan
3. What are you reading lately?
Our Philosophy (Falsafatuna) by Ayatollah Muhammad Baqir al-Sadr
4. What are you playing lately?
Been playing some tft

Apt of me to be late to an introduction thread. A pretty key tenant of my personality.
1. I'm Walid (He/Him) the last co-host of Dead Letters.
2. No pets, but lived with a beautiful kitty named Sora that hated my guts.
3. Been trudging along through interesting chapters of Dax Gazaway's book on game systems.
4. I'm running a bastardization of a handful of game systems in what I'm hoping will be a longer form campaign (Whitehack, Odd Goblin, Vanilla Game).
