Introductions

Apt of me to be late to an introduction thread. A pretty key tenant of my personality.

1. I'm Walid (He/Him) the last co-host of Dead Letters.
2. No pets, but lived with a beautiful kitty named Sora that hated my guts.
3. Been trudging along through interesting chapters of Dax Gazaway's book on game systems.
4. I'm running a bastardization of a handful of game systems in what I'm hoping will be a longer form campaign (Whitehack, Odd Goblin, Vanilla Game).

You mentioned TVG, so you're the first co-host of Dead Letters in my heart, Walid.

1) I'm Matthias, a dad and schoolteacher in New England.
2) Josie, an ancient but active chihuahua mix we picked up in New Mexico.
3) I get to do way less "real" reading than I would like - or, less forgivingly, I make way less time for it than I would like - but I have a lot of cleaning and commute time so most of my contact with books is in audio form. Currently my big chronological reading project, which I started a few years ago and to state the obvious is nowhere near comprehensive, is around 200 CE. I also recently read local favorite Wolves Upon the Coast like everyone else just adore it.
4) Not much. This is a good reminder that I should try to wrangle my in-person group! When I get a little more time I'd like to run some live text stuff.

1. Hi, I'm Sporian, a Seattle-based game designer, trans woman, and teacher (and therefore am pretty consistently pseudonymized across the web).
2. I don't have any pets rn but I'm living with people with two fluffy cats, Willow and Clover.
3. I'm currently reading the Silmarillion with Game Studies Study Buddies, and have some plans to use my new library card to get into some pulp.
4. I'm currently running a game of Isabelle Ruebsaat's A Most Bloody Devotion, and am playing a short Wildsea game. That game is with people who played a five-and-change year long Blades in the Dark campaign.

3. I am very slowly trying to muddle through the Odyssey in its original Greek
4. I'm currently running Night's Black Agents, Stonetop, and Mongoose Traveller 2e, with three different (though not mutually exclusive) groups of friends.
